In the last 5 years, the registrations of 1,486 products were cancelled or withdrawn. This consisted of 131 (8.8%) prescription products, 404 (27.2%) OTC products and 951 (64%) traditional medicinal products (Table 24). The cancellation of registration was due to safely issues and non-compliance with registration requirements.
