The total quantity (kg) and the total worth (RM) of imports for all types of herbal materials into the country during the stated period are shown in Figure 112 and Table 59.

The quantity of imports indicated slight increases during the first 3 observed years, however, the values changed insignificantly after year 2004. Generally, the total worth of imports for each year showed an increasing trend indicating that the cost price for the imported raw materials i had, likewise climbed up to a higher level.
